About
Welcome to RenoLanSlide.com - Northern Nevada’s Gaming Epicenter
Who Are We?
RenoLanSlide.com is a community of gamers for gamers based in Reno Nevada. We bring the social aspect back to multiplayer and competitive gaming by coordinating LAN parties and other social gatherings. Our community hails from all walks of life, as you will find members who are young, old, male, female, caucasian, philipino, bald, skinny, and even damn sexy. One thing brings us together, and that’s our love of competitive online gaming. From Unreal Tournament 2004 to TrackMania Nations, our memebers test will, endurance, skill, and sometimes their ability to chug energy drinks. Looking for a LAN Party in Reno? Well, look no further. We strive to bring at least one large scale sponsored LAN to the area every year, while providing a monthly social outlet in the form of the RLS House LANs, where gaming, leeching, pizza, enticing beverages and the occasional hookah are sure to make appearances.

How It All Began
RenoLanSlide.com of was conceptualized by Jonathan Hayton back in the summer of 2003 after countless hours immersed in online play with such games as Quake 3 Arena, Counter-Strike, and Battlefield 1942. LAN parties were not uncommon, but lacked any connection to gamers outside of one’s circle of friends. A local community was sought, and RLS was born. On September 23rd, 2003, the domain renolanslide.com was purchased and a website was started.
