Daylight Saving Time PC Health

Most of us rely on our computers to automatically detect the time and date our clocks should be adjusted one hour forward or one hour back because of Daylight Saving Time. This year is a bit different though. Beginning this year Daylight Saving Time starts three weeks earlier and ends one week earlier than usual. Microsoft has provided a great guide to ensure your operating system and calendar programs are updated correctly.

Do you need to update your computer? The answer is yes. If you’re operating your computer with Vista then you may not need to do the adjustment but even Microsoft claims it’s a good idea to confirm it by running the Daylight Saving Time Update Guide
